This from my chum Martin Ellison -
The 'Whistle at her' tune is actually a stylised version of 'Wind the Bobbin Up'. We (Martin and Roger Edwards) didn't know what to call it but it ended up with a name inspired by my mum's broad Lancashire accent. She pronounced 'we shall have to' (eg 'hurry up' or 'be going') as 'we's'll atter'. The name stuck but transformed into 'Whistle at Her'.

X:537
T:Whistle at Her
M:4/4
L:1/8
K:G
Bc|d2 de dcBc|d2 de dc B2|c2 Ac B2 GB|A2 F2 G2 Bc|
d2 de dcBc|d2 de dc B2|c2 Ac B2 GB|A2 F2 G4||
AGFE D2 D2|GABc d2 B2|c2 Ac B2 GB|A2 F2 G4|
AGFE D2 D2|GABc d2 B2|c2 Ac B2 GB|A2 F2 G2 Bc|
Reasonably Accurate Melodeonisthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10457793685091172845noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2892825405965726460.post-14016612952913558752022-11-23T11:20:00.000+00:002022-11-23T11:20:03.882+00:00Tune 536 - King George the Third's Minuet

<div class="separator" style="clear: both;
