Undine Hornby is believed to be the author of the Plane Tree, but it's very close to Mominette, the schottische version written by Maxou Heintzen in 1981.

This is one of my favourite tunes ever, but I prefer the schottische version. Before I had to ban the melodeon because of the wrist I could almost play it decently :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Susi, the schottische will turn up in the fullness of time :-)
DeleteSorry to hear you are not playing at the moment, will you come back to it or will your wrist not improve?
