As it's Thanksgiving in the USA on the day of posting I thought I do an American tune. The tune for the famous American cowboy ballad in which a dying cowboy tells his story to a living one. Composed in 1959 by Pat Shuldham-Shaw (1917-1977) from Stratford-upon-Avon, and dedicated to Margaret Grant, representative in Devon of the EFDSS on the occasion of her retirement.
