ReplyDeleteThere's a version of this tune on a CD called "Stepping Up" as played by The Leeds Band - on there, it's called "When there isn't a girl about/Peggy Wood/Looking for a partner" but as the set consists of only two tunes, I can't fathom how it has three titles...
ReplyDeleteIt's "Looking for a Partner". Britannia Two Step is a Scottish barn dance that this tune is frequently used for.
